Terms of service

1. Agreement

By accessing this website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service together with our Shipping Policy, Return & Refund Policy, and Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least the age of majority in your province and, where ordering on behalf of an organization (such as a fire department or municipality), have authority to bind that organization.

3. Products and pricing

Prices are in Canadian dollars and exclude applicable taxes unless stated. We may correct pricing or description errors and cancel any affected order, even after it is placed.

4. Orders

Your order is an offer to purchase. We may accept, decline, or cancel any order — for example, due to stock availability, pricing errors, or suspected fraud. A contract is formed only when we confirm and ship your order.

5. Payment

We accept credit and debit cards through Shopify Payments and Interac/e-transfer. Purchase orders and invoicing are available to approved institutional and municipal accounts. Card payments are processed by our payment provider; we do not store full card numbers.

6. Intended use and safety

Civic Supply products are professional firefighting and industrial equipment. You are responsible for selecting products suitable for your application and for the training, inspection, testing, and maintenance required before and during use, in accordance with applicable standards (such as NFPA and ULC) and manufacturer instructions.

7. Warranties

Product warranties are set out in our Return & Refund Policy. Except as expressly stated there, and to the extent permitted by law, products are sold without further warranties. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under the Business Practices and Consumer Protection Act (British Columbia) or other consumer-protection laws that cannot be waived.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Civic Supply’s total liability arising from any product or order is limited to the amount you paid for that product. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

9. Intellectual property

All website content is owned by or licensed to Civic Supply and may not be used commercially without our written consent.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, and the courts of British Columbia have jurisdiction over any dispute.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version posted on the website at the time of your order applies to that order.
